Goldstar Palm Oil is a feed material obtained from the mesocarp of the palm fruit. Crude palm oil is Approx. 50% saturated & contains mainly palmitic (C16:0) & oleic (C18:1) acids. Palm oil is mainly suited to ruminant diets as it contains about 50% long chain saturated fatty acids. Goldstar Palm Fatty Acid Oil is a feed material produced when crude palm oil is refined for human consumption using alkali refining or physical refining process. Palm Fatty Acids are high in palmitic acid, which is a saturated fat, making the product quite suitable for inclusion in diets for ruminant animals.
